A fine detailed engraving of Covent Garden designed by the famous architect Inigo Jones. It was published in Colen Campbell’s ‘Vitruvius Britannicus’ of 1717-31 which established Palladian architecture in eighteenth century Britain. The work focused on the great country house estates, palaces and churches of the country.
