A fine large scale chart of the waters from Penang Island to the Straits of Malacca. A ‘town’ is identified on Penang Island now known as Georgetown. In the bottom right corner is the inlet to Kuala Lumpur. On the Sumatran coast ‘Delhi’ marks the site of present day Medan. The first edition without any corrections surveyed by Captain W. Fitzwilliam Owen, Lieut. T. Woore and Captain Daniel Ross.
