This very rare English sea chart was first published in John Seller’s ‘English Pilot Third Part’ covering the Mediterranean Sea in 1677. This example was published by Richard Mount and Thomas Page in the 1711 edition of the ‘English Pilot Part III’ covering the Mediterranean Sea. Engraved by James Bennett (fl.1675-77), it centres on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. Upper left are the coast of Tuscany and the island of Elba.
