This miniature Abraham Ortelius map of Tartary was first published in 1601. The text was provided by Michel Coignet and the maps by the Arsenius brothers, Remy and Regnier. They are considered to be an improvement on earlier plates including as they do latitude and longitudinal scales. This particular map features an interesting Korean peninsula. Koeman Ort 63.
