This detailed chart appears to be the original first issue uncorrected drawn from a survey by Captain W. Thornton Bate of the Royal Navy in 1857. With the city of Canton at the top it details the western rivers feeding the Canton River at a fascinating period in the regions history. Hong Kong had only been founded in 1841.
