A very attractive wall map of the Republic of Argentina and neighbouring Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay published by Pablo Ludwig in Buenos Aires. Argentina is divided into its administrative districts. Tooley records that he also published a map in nine-sheets on the railways, steamships and telegraphs of the same region in 1896. These and others are noted on this map keyed lower left. A large inset of Buenos Aires is included lower right. The whole is finished in a piano key border with ornate corners and headpiece of the Argentinian coat of arms.
