A fine detailed map with ornate title cartouche of lower Tartary and the Korean peninsula. It also covers north eastern China and shows some of Hokkaido, Japan (Jeso-Gasima). Identified are the Gobi Desert, Peking and the Great Wall. It is from the ‘Atlante Novissimo’ by Zatta (fl.1775-97) which was a four volume work of the world and engraved by G.Pitteri.
