A very rare separately published map of the Bordeaux region of south west France. Nicolas Langois was born in Paris the son of the engraver Francois Langlois. He married the daughter of Pierre Mariette and flourished as a bookseller and publisher in the Rue Jacques a la Victoire, Paris, c.1650.
