The title page to William Camden’s ‘Britannia’. This was the first fully illustrated edition of Camden’s great work and the first to include a full set of English county maps. For the title page the engraver William Hole used the design of the earlier and smaller 1600 edition. Shirley BI no. 279; Skelton no. 5.
