A beautifully engraved detailed map of Asia Minor as first published. With the islands of Rhodes and Cyprus fully depicted. The de Rossi family were a large and important publishing house in Rome during the seventeenth century. From 1677 they published the ‘Mercurio Geografico’ from which this map is taken.
