Bottom right is an inset chart of the British Isles above which are the keys and to the left of which is a description of the country. The title appears in an extremely ornate cartouche upper left featuring a pair of cows and a reclining nude. The map was first issued separately and this issue is rare, There are two later states the first of which bears the imprint dated 1773, it is this state offered here.
