The ‘History of England …’ by Rapin was continued in this edition by Nicholas Tindal to the Accession of King George II. First published in 1745 it contained a number of battle plans and maps. A second expanded edition published in 1751. A beautifully engraved chart of the North Sea by Richard Seale with an explanation upper right identifying the key points. Shirley, R.W.
