This very rare English sea chart was first published in John Seller’s ‘English Pilot Third Part’ covering the Mediterranean Sea in 1677. This issue was published by Mount and Page in 1727. It displays the south coast of Spain including Andalucia and Granada. It extends from Gibraltar to Cap de Gat near Almeria. Along the coast are many familiar names including ‘Estapona’, ‘Marbella’, ‘Fangerola’ (Fuengirola), Malaga, Velez Malaga, Almunecar, Motril etc. Shirley ‘Atlases in the BL’ M.Sell 1d no. 5.
