It is the presence of ‘OLLANDIA NOVA DETCETA i644’, and ‘Ant Van Diemens lant’ in the inset lower left that represents the most recent discoveries. The four sheet map is replicated well and only readily identified by close examination. It is found here with two decorative side borders bearing various figures, and twelve vignette town views along the lower border, all derived from Blaeu. Outside this on three sides is sometimes letterpress text in Latin, this is lacking in our example. Running above the whole is found a woodcut title which credits Blaeu.
