A sea chart of the Cape Verde Islands first published by William Mount and Thomas Page from at least 1729 in the ‘English Pilot First Part, Southern Navigation’. It’s earlier issue was actually by John Seller. This handsome chart illustrates an important location to the Atlantic trade routes.
