A detailed topographical map of the region of Japan which includes Ushimado (Usymano), just to the east of present day Okayama. Further east can be found the city of Akashi (Akasi), Kobe (Koobe), and of course Osaka. Engelbert Kaempfer’s ‘History of Japan’ was originally written in German.
