First published in the extremely rare ‘Anglia Contracta’, c.1694, this series of plates by John Seller had a long and varied life. At the same time as illustrating the 1701 edition of Camden’s ‘Britannia Abridg’d’ they were also included in some editions of the ‘History of England’. Skelton no. 122.
